April school holidays

Dear Matthew, Toby and Josie

With interest rates going up 11 out of the last 12 months, and already having three mini-holidays this year, we had a very low-key school holidays. Tobes, you started your Auskick for the first time and Matt you returned to your usual footy team. Tobes and Josie, we took a trip to Scitech which you both loved and Matt we made Anzac biscuits together for Anzac Day. Your cousins Rose and Ava came over for a play one day when there was a full eclipse of the sun and the town of Exmouth was plunged into complete darkness for a minute. Tobes you had a birthday party at the spaceship park and we caught up with your friend Jack at the park down the road too. Matt you had three sleepovers, two with friends and one with your cousin Harry, all at our place. Josie you enjoyed your usual lining up of toys and just pottering around the house, while tagging along to all your big brother's events. It was a pretty chilled holidays!

Love you all,

Easter 2023

Dear Matthew, Toby and Josie

The end of term one at school signaled that it must be Good Friday and Easter! In the lead up you and I did a little Easter egg hunt with a friend from playgroup Josie (although it seems like you were both happy to just collect one egg, eat it, and then move on to the next!). We then did our traditional Good Friday brunch at Ma Ma and Gumps' house, and we were lucky enough that my own grandparents were able to join us for the morning. Ma Ma organised an Easter egg hunt for you all in the garden and it was bittersweet to think that this could potentially have been your last hunt in it as they will officially be putting the house on the market soon, with the intention of moving to Mandurah.

The night before Easter we put some carrots out for the Easter bunny and lo and behold he delivered you all a great stash overnight, and left bunny footprints out the front! You all had a greta time collecting the chocolate from around the house. We made chocolate milks with whipped cream on top from your chocolate bunnies and headed to your cousin's house in the afternoon for yet another Easter egg hunt! Safe to say we are set for our sugar quota for the next few months. We had a yummy late lunch/early dinner with your cousins and grandparents before heading home for an early night! It was a lovely Easter weekend.

Love you all,
