Last Saturday we celebrated your nanna’s birthday by heading
to the Core Cider House in Pickering Brook. We had never been there before and
(although we missed the apple picking that had finished the month before) it
was lovely to be in the hills surrounded by the fruit orchards.
You are four of your cousins had a great time playing on the
play equipment and especially enjoyed ‘riding’ the tractor. For lunch you and
your cousins had ‘loaded fries’ (yummy chips covered in pulled pork and
cheese), your dad had a pork curry with apple sauce and I had a delicious
pulled pork cheeseburger. Your dad and nanna also tried some of the ciders made
on the premises. Needless to say we all left with full bellies and fresh
country air in our lungs. It was a lovely way to celebrate nanna’s birthday and
hopefully we can come back next year during apple picking season.
Love you beautiful boy,
Mum xxx
