A couple of days ago you seem to have said your first word. Although at this point it's still sort of a guess given you'll regularly ramble 'da da da da' and 'mumumumum'.
Anyway, your dad came home from work and in your usual fashion you reached towards him as you wanted him to hold you. You moved around excitedly in his arms for a little bit, turning your head heaps and then all of a sudden stopped, looked straight at him and said 'dad!'.
Your dad and I looked at each other and agreed that it was very much in context so we're calling it your first word (or at least a great coincidence!).
Great work buddy! Now if only we can get you to repeat it....
