New Years and Cowaramup

Dear Matthew

For New Years we headed down to my cousin Joseph's farm at Cowaramup with a lot of my fam bam. It was a nice little road trip and your dad and I were very impressed that putting up the tent for us to sleep in was completed relatively quickly and without any major arguments between us.

You loved playing with all the twins' toys, especially (surprise surprise) their kitchen set in their ginormous tree house.

Your dad and I got to go off on our own little exploration of the town and enjoyed buying fudge and honeycomb from the local lolly store, Candy Cow, and some delicious quiche from a deli. We also visited Howard Park winery where your dad enjoyed some tasting and bought himself a nice bottle to enjoy.

In the evening we had a big cook up and your Grandma and Aunty Steph got nicely drunk and had fun singing YMCA (amongst other songs) while pulling off some killer dance moves.

Needless to say it wasn't a particularly eventful New Years Eve (oh the life of parents!) and we all passed out in the tent by 8:30pm.

The next day we headed to the beach for a quick dip in the morning in Busselton and in the afternoon you enjoyed driving around on the quad bike (or monster truck as you call it) before we headed home.

It was a great break and you were amazing in the car - 3 hours and we didn't hear boo from you! My little easy traveller!

Love you,

Mum xxx
