Christmas 2017

Dear Matthew and Toby

This Christmas, Toby's first, was a wonderfully chilled family affair. In the morning we woke and opened our presents under the tree. Matt, you got your long-awaited Bumblebee transformer, a crane, some books, a dinosaur chomper and a dinosaur monster truck. Toby, we wrapped up your 'quiet book' and gifted it to you again (don't worry, you weren't bothered!).

For breakfast we headed over to Ma Ma and Gump's house for our traditional waffles and present exchange. We were all gifted zoo membership which I know we'll enjoy throughout the year together. Ma Ma and Gumps had chosen a few things from the World Vision catalogue, including a llama, which we gave them, along with your Santa photo, a cross stitch I had made with another quote from Christmas Vacation and a scrabble tile board of important Constable Christmas-related words.

After breakfast we then headed to Matilda Bay with daddy's side of the family for our Christmas lunch. Matt, you loved playing in the water with your cousins and Toby slept peacefully in his pram for a lot of the afternoon. We did present opening and played a game I'd put together for all the kids where you had to unravel a giant roll of cling wrap and find prizes along the way.

In the evening we took a family walk together up the park and chilled together as a family enjoying our first Christmas as a foursome.

Looking forward to lots more beautiful Christmases with my wonderful boys.

Love you,

Mum xxx
