Christmas activities with your cousins

Dear Matthew and Toby

In the lead up to Christmas we have been doing a few different activities with your cousins. Early on in December we went to the Christmas pageant in the city. I had never been to the Christmas pageant and was really looking forward to the experience. We took the train into town and met your cousins around 5pm at Elizabeth Quay. Matt, you went on the merry-go-round with the kids and we then went to your dad's favourite dim sum restaurant for tea.

Afterwards we headed up to a good vantage point on St George's Terrace. You played with your cousins for a while as it got dark. Once the parade started your dad put you up on his shoulders so you could see the floats. You enjoyed this for a little while but then wanted to go and see 'your friends' so I took you to where your cousins were and you sat on a giant green bin with them for the rest of the night enjoying the parade!

Later in the month we headed to your aunty Chantel's house to do some baking and decorating. We are hoping this will become a Christmas tradition amongst the cousins and will do our best to arrange it every year. We decorated cupcakes, biscuits and shortbread and the big kids doted on Toby.

Love you kids and your wonderful cousins,

Mum xxx
