Water fun in the city

Dear Matthew and Toby

At the start of the month we headed back into the city on the train to help Tobes get used to the trains some more and to check at the new Yagon Square.

We stopped off first at the new food hall at Yagon Square where Matt you and daddy got an ice cream each (which was delicious) before we headed up to the top of the building for some water play.

It was a great little water play area with shallow water, fountains and some other play equipment near by. It was a nice sunny day so you were both happy to get drenched and have a good play about. There were a few other families there but not too many and you enjoyed playing with the other kids. It was very relaxing watching you play knowing it was nice and safe for you both.

Afterwards we went to lunch at one of our favourite restaurants in the city, Bam bam boo. We ordered a good amount of dumplings, soup and other delicious dishes that you both gobbled up, so I'm hoping Japan won't be too much of a shock to both of your tastebuds!

It was a lovely day out and Tobes you were great on the way back in the train, you have also started saying 'choo choo train' when we drop daddy off at the train station on the way to work and actually get excited seeing them, so I'm staying positive about our train experiences in Japan!

Love you both,

Mum xxx
