Mandurah visit

Dear Matthew and Toby

This month we took a little day-trip down to Darryl's holiday house in Mandurah that he will soon inherit. Darryl and his dad built this house themselves when he was younger and it is dear to him because of the memories associated with that. From memory it's just beyond your great-grandparents house and near The Cut golf course, and a very short stroll to the ocean.

When we got there we enjoyed some lunch with your Nanna and Darryl and then Darryl took you both across the road to the park. We then went down the beach and built sandcastles and played on the water's edge. Afterwards we drove to the banks of the estuary for another play on the playground and an ice-cream before heading home. It was great to get to know Darryl's family history a bit more and hopefully we can come back for more visits in the future.

Love you,

Mum xxx
